Red Bull will introduce its latest round of upgrades over the Austria and British grand prix weekends as it approaches the culmination of its 2025 Formula 1 development efforts. Helmut Marko, the team’s advisor, revealed that the revisions to the floor, sidepods, and front wing, which were gradually introduced across the Miami, Imola, and Barcelona weekends, will see further refinements at the upcoming home race in Austria. Marko expressed the critical nature of these upgrades, stating that failing to see results could pose challenges in the world championship, especially given the existing difficulties. The team’s focus will soon shift entirely to the new regulations for the following year, with resources being allocated strategically due to time constraints and the cost cap. Marko remains hopeful that Red Bull can close the gap of approximately three tenths of a second per lap on the leading McLarens, emphasizing the importance of making progress promptly. As the team looks ahead to the Red Bull Ring, Marko highlighted Max Verstappen’s success at the track and the shared struggles with tyre management among teams, emphasizing the need to capitalize on favorable track conditions to improve performance in a significantly constrained working window.
